Traditional Firework Displays

Whilst pyromusical displays have overtaken traditional firework displays for larger events, many people prefer a non-musical traditional firework displays where the “soundtrack” is provided by the fireworks.

Many of Blaze Firework’s displays are traditional fireworks, particularly our wedding firework displays and many of our seasonal bonfire night customers who prefer the traditional fireworks format.

Traditional Firework Display Frequently Asked Questions

The duration of a traditional firework displays typically is between 5 and 10 minutes but some may last up to 20 minutes.

Yes you can however this will limit the type of effect which can be used. For a quiet traditional display (non-musical) we advise that around 5 minutes duration is long enough without having to repeat effects too many times.

You can have your firework display at any time of the year however it’s worth remembering:

  • Your display must have finished by 11pm except for November 5th, New Year’s Eve, Chinese New Year or Diwali.
  • If you’re having a summer firework display then you might need to wait until it’s dark at around 10pm

Rain generally will not affect your firework display as fireworks are waterproofed. Wind can be difficult in certain circumstances if the direction or strength is significantly different to expected conditions. If the wind is not in a safe direction on site then the display firing positions may need to be moved, the angles of the effects change or remove longer burning effects.

Our traditional firework displays are fully inclusive once quoted and include all planning, venue liaison, site visits, risk assessments, firework display insurance and the rigging, firing and clear up of the display.

If you require a last minute firework display or you’ve been let down by another supplier then please get in touch and we’ll do all we can to help. We recognise there are sometimes genuine reasons why a company are unable to provide the display and will do everything we can to assist even if it’s last minute.
